This rural site lies within an AONB and the surrounding farmland is leased to the local bio-dynamic farm as part of a long term environmental strategy. The landscaping includes a new orchard, clay lined pond and sculpture garden. The heating system comprises a wood fired biomass boiler with integrated solar arrays. Roof mounted pv panels generate approximately 5kW. Construction internally is of unfired tongue and grooved clay blocks with birch ply service cores.
