This community inspired project was part grant funded and replaced a propane gas fired district heating system. The new boiler is a biomass unit fuelled by woodchips from a mill 6 miles away. The system serves 27 houses a kindergarten and various ancillary building. Located at the entrance to the car park the building also acts as a symbolic gate house.
